Our Story
Rock Smith Architecture is a Southern California–based architectural design studio specializing in custom residential projects, from renovations and additions to new homes and ADUs.
Our story began long before the firm was officially established in July 2024. Since 2015, founder Julie has operated Rock Smith LLC, a residential design practice she built while concurrently working toward her architect’s license. Those early years shaped our values: dedication, resilience, and a deep commitment to guiding clients through every phase of the design and construction process.
What began as a small residential design practice has grown into a fully realized architectural studio grounded in experience, perseverance, and a passion for thoughtful homes. Rock Smith Architecture continues to build on that foundation, one carefully crafted project at a time.
